Custom Holiday Cards - Order before the holiday chestnutiness!

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

I know what you might be thinking ‘custom holidays cards already Jenn? It’s still a month before Halloween!’ And I hear you, there are costumes and turkey aplenty before Santa’s big day arrives, but the truth, there is no better time to get that address list together and order those fabulous custom holiday cards! No lines, no snowy walkways to plow, and the best part, no gift shopping that must be done to prevent you from sitting down with a cup of cocoa in October and writing notes to all your friends and loved ones.

Plus, true to Scribbles stationery form, we have the top-drawerest collection of Custom Holiday cards this side of the North Pole! From classics like Crane & Co. and Caspari, to superb, unique letterpress designs from Page and Elum (like this one to the left), and out of this world engraving from Haute, Scribbles has the best mix of custom cards for you to choose from. You could even get a few different styles to really spice up writing them!

Come see us, we’d love to get your holiday planning going early. If you would like to make an appointment to look at Custom Holiday Cards, just click away and we’ll get you set-up immediately!

ooh that’s simply gorgeous! Let’s look at some more . . .

Page Letterpress, how stunning is that card? (and how cute is that kid?)

Kate Spade’s Reindeer Games - this one is a Jarecki family favorite (it may just be the card Aunt Trish and Uncle Ken get this year!). Let’s take a closer peek at these festive party-goers, shall we?

Adorable!

Happy Early Holidays everyone! Remember, it really is never too early to start getting those cards together. We’d love to help!

-Jenny

First Post! And first things first, right on writing on. . .

Hello everyone -  welcome to Scribbles’ blog, we’re happy you’ve joined us!     Our stationery-loving-kitsch-toting bloggers will cover everything from the loudest cat’s meow in wedding invitations to the latest card designer who’s caught our eye.  We’ll feature artists with whom we’re smitten and innumerable crafty, paper loving topics across the board.  What better way to start than A - Z: the address book!

In a sad turn of events for the address book, blackberrys, cellphones, and email have been gaining speed, electronically threatening: “hey, pretty hand bound book, your pages are numbered!” (The address book replies “well, no, actually they’re alphabetized” but we’ll save that conversation for another post).  Yet Scribbles supports traditions in paper that are worth a teence of effort (like owning a mom and pop shop in the not so Golden Age of the Box Store) because these traditions often lead to artfulness and creativity.  We suggest keeping all of your important names, address, numbers, faxes, birthdays, and related notes in one of our fabulous address books.  This way if you’re traveling in a place without cell service you can rely on the usefulness of your address book or, if you happen to damage your electronics, your contacts will be safe, sound, and beautifully kept.  And for the plain simple fact that address books are totally rad.

Be it spiral bound (the impressive Redoute Tall), pocket ready (Botticelli’s stunning mini), or from Vermont (Heron Dance’s inspired watercolors) Scribbles is stocked with choices to keep the address book alive!  Oh - and might we suggest writing in pencil?  Best way to maintain these lovely books for even longer!
